Description
As the conclusion of two days of studio recordings, the Søren Bebe Trio will perform an exclusive and intimate “live in the studio” concert at The V-Recording Copenhagen studio.
There is space for only 60 audience members, and the concert will be recorded on audio and video and later released as a live album on CD and vinyl in 2027.
This is therefore a unique opportunity to witness and participate in the recording of a brand new live album by the Søren Bebe Trio.
The concert will last approximately 2 × 45 minutes, and the repertoire will consist of a mix of new and older pieces from the trio’s nine studio albums.
There will be an opportunity to purchase drinks during the intermission.
The V-Recording studio (formerly Village Recording) is the same studio where many of the trio’s previous albums were recorded, including Gratitude, Here Now, First Song, Echoes, and A Song for You.
You can get an impression of the studio by watching one of the attached videos or by visiting YouTube / sorenbebe.
About the Søren Bebe Trio
The pianist and composer Søren Bebe leads this trio which, with nine releases and concerts all over the world, has become one of the most sought-after and streamed jazz trios in Europe.
More than half a million people listen to the trio’s music every month. Their music draws inspiration from Scandinavian jazz, folk music, and the Danish hymn tradition, delivered with remarkable musical generosity by the three musicians.
Alongside Søren Bebe on piano, the trio features bassist Kasper Tagel and Norwegian drummer Knut Finsrud.
In other words, it is beautiful, thoughtful acoustic Nordic jazz at a relaxed pace, music that cares for every single note and invites the listener to relax.
As reviewer Niels Overgård from JazzNyt described their latest release:
“It’s jazzy mindfulness. The sound is incredibly good. The music follows along. It is calm for the soul. It is music with a healing perspective. Beautiful.”
The latest album “Gratitude” (2026) is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed and Danish Music Award-nominated album “Here Now” (2023), which received the following six-star review from the French-American magazine Paris-Move:
“Søren Bebe masters the art of melody perfectly and draws from the folklore of his culture. A graceful, elegant, poetic album of understated richness.”
