Our new album is called Time Being, and it celebrates both the 20th anniversary of the trio and our 10th studio album release.

So in many ways, it looks both backward and forward.

Out of the album’s 13 tracks, three are re-recordings of older compositions – but in completely new versions.

One of them is Song for Andrea, which we originally recorded for our second album, From Out Here.

I originally wrote the piece 18 years ago for Andrea, one of my then newborn twin girls. (Don’t worry – Alberte got her own song too: Song for Alberte / Albertes Sang ).

For this new recording, we’ve given the piece a loving update and even restored its original Danish title, so it is once again called Andreas Sang, the title it had when I first wrote it.
